Artists like Burgoyne who use prosthetic sculpting, molding and casting techniques, along with other tricks of the trade, play a large role in bringing the director’s vision to life on the screen and helping audiences to accept movie illusion as reality.  Burgoyne will give a makeup effects demonstration and discuss photographs and clips of his work from “The Omen,” “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,” Love in the Time of Cholera,” “Last Holiday,” “CSI,” “ER” and other film and television programs in which he has been involved over the course of his career.
