Spartan Men's Soccer Set to Host NCAA Sectionals

For the second straight weekend, the York College men’s soccer squad has been selected to host four teams in the 2009 NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer Championship Tournament. The Spartans will host Williams, Christopher Newport, and Stevens Institute on Saturday, November 21 and Sunday, November 22. York faces Williams at 11:00 am followed by Christopher Newport and Stevens facing off at 1:30 pm. The two winners advance to the regional final on Sunday at 1:00 pm with a berth in the Final Four on the line. The Final Four will be held in San Antonio, TX on December 4 and 5.

YC Players to present 'Chronicles,' 'A Christmas Carol'

The York College Players will end their fall season with performances of “Chronicles” and “A Christmas Carol.”
“Chronicles” will be presented at 7 p.m., Dec. 1-5, in the Perko Playpen Theatre, and “A Christmas Carol” will be performed at 1 p.m., Dec. 2-4, in the Collegiate Performing Arts Center. “Chronicles” is one in a series of full-length and one-act plays by Don Nigro that follow the fate of the Pendragon family of Armitage, Ohio.
